Community Service

Community service is one of the greatest fulfilling feelings in the world. the fact that your helping out someone else or doing something genuinely good, with no gratification other then just feeling good is amazing. it makes me really question whether humanity is truly good on the inside. i remember last year when i went with some friends that were doing charity work for an Israeli organization. They were running a silent auction to help get orphaned children in Israel off the streets. it was a really amazing experience. their was one young adult who grew up in the streets of Israel their. she gave a little speech at the beginning and it was really inspirational. i also got to talk to a lot of extremely important and rich people in the Chicago area. after the event i really was more thankful for the things i have that so many people don't have.

Who Am I?

when someone asks you "who are you?" how do you answer? do you explain your physical characteristics? for me i am a dark brown haired 5"6 male. that has eyes that range from green to yellow to blue. or are you defined as what you do, or have done. for me i am a senior at high school. i played 11 years of baseball, 3 years of soccer, and 2 years of gymnastics. i am very active in my Jewish youth group. and also have a part time job at an ice cream store. Or maybe its your family and heritage that defines you. and if that's the case, I'm a half Russian half Polish Jew.
